Adelaide Aquatic Centre Staff Volunteer!
C4C formed a great partnership with the Adelaide City Council during 2011. When the Aquatic Centre (Adelaide City Council property) had to close for renovations recently, it meant the staff couldn't work at the pool!
The Adelaide City Council didn't want to lose valuable staff, so they asked C4C to find volunteer placements for each individual to match their interest and skill sets.
From this project, a total of 1300 hours were contributed to Edmund Rice Camps, Community Accomodation and Respite Agency (CARA), the Epilepsy Association and Arthritis SA.
A great result for the council as well as for the community!

Our Growing Total of Hours Donated to C4C

Did you know that between from January 2010 until January 2012, 95 C4C partnership projects have been completed with a total of 5368 hours being donated to the community.
Just some of the organisations to benefit from the generosity of the Corporate Volunteers include CARA (Community Accomodation and Respite Agency), Cora Barclay, Habitat for Humanity, Hills Community Options and the Salvation Army.
C4C volunteers have contributed their expertise to community groups in many areas including auditing, graphic design, team building days, website design, business planning and facilitating.
A fantastic range of skills being given free of charge!
This assistance from the corporate sector directly helps our community groups to grow and strengthen which in turn benefits our whole community.
